How Improve Your English Level in a Short Time

Language is an important things for us who immigrated from a non-mother tongue. We have to accept a challenge and achieve the goals which can make us easy to working and good life. As a new immigration, I had a little experience to share with all friends who need it.
I had a lot of wrong way to learn English before:
  1. I had to search the word in the dictionary and had to know the pronunciation first.
  2. I  would memorize  the each alphabet one by one and repeat it many times.
  3. When I was reading a newspaper or a book, I would search the mean of each words which I didn't know.
  4. I kept the wrong  pronunciation of words and used it to read.
  5. I liked to speak Chinese if I possible.
  6. I couldn't create a English thinking mode.
  7. I did not practise to talk with others with English because I thought I couldn't express my whole idea.
  8. I did not like to read English books though it could help me to improve English Level.

Now I have to change habit of learning English:
  1. when I am learning a new word, I will try my best to read it correctly and repeat it many times.
  2. I will study to find  out the rule of each word and practise some others words like that.
  3. I would like speak and talk to others if I can.
  4. I will make a plan about learning English every day and keep doing.
  5. I would like listen to radio or TV when I am doing my housework.
  6. I will  make friends with English and talk to my friends about me.
As a result,  if I can follow up and study hard   I can improve my English Level and use it freedom.

For version 2, on a separate post, would you like to expand on those points and make them into paragraphs?
